APPROVAL/DENIAL OF THE CHARTER RENEWAL APPLICATION FOR IMAGINE SCHOOL AT PALMER RANCH
Description
The Charter for Imagine School at Palmer Ranch expires on June 30, 2014. Pursuant to F.S. 1002.33(8) the School Board must notify the school 90 days prior to the end of the contract if, due to statutory reasons, the Charter will not be renewed. The school and district staff have provided the Board with data and comments related to the school's application at the February 18 and March 18, 2014 Board Work Sessions. If the renewal application is approved, a new Charter will be negotiated and brought to the Board for approval.
Recommendation
That the charter renewal application for Imagine School at Palmer Ranch be approved/denied.
